"Life as Improv" An adult support group

An engaging opportunity while learning to navigate life challenges and find support within your community. This is an 8-week series with different topics (see below). The series is on every Tuesday starting on Oct 29 through Dec 17 in the Behavioral Health Conference room at MyMichigan Medical Center. Must register ahead-max participation is 15 people.

October 29, 2024: Meet and Greet- discussion of what you can expect from this support group and what you are looking for—View Life As Improv

November 5, 2024: Learn about NEMCSA programs- MAPP (insurance enrollments), volunteer program, other programs offered through NEMCSA; Learn about the Senior Center and opportunities there; Learn about the different classes at MSU ext—Don’t forget to VOTE!!

November 12, 2024: Learn about some of the areas Service Clubs and how you could be a part of how they serve the community

November 19, 2024: Spirituality—Many times we stop investing in our personal goals and growth. Learn how you can start giving back.

November 26, 2024: Getting through the holidays—Discussion on common difficulties and what you can do to get through them

December 3, 2024: Learn about other Service Clubs not previously represented and how you could be a part of serving the community

December 10, 2024: Transitions in Life—Learn to identify what these are and how to navigate them

December 17, 2024: Fitness Fun—Meet at Joshua Tree to learn about movement and how it is important for mind, body, spirit. Go through a short session and feel great at the end!!
